A group of EGMT students, Viktória Olléová, Samuel Strecha and Barbara Ferenčíková attended KeplerEP – Model European Parliament, which took place at the Gymnazium Jana Keplera in Prague. We chose various committees such as the ENVI (Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety) where we were discussing the current problem of drug abuse among the EU states and AFET(Committee on Foreign Affairs) where the affair of the Turkish offensive into northeastern Syria was discussed. Every delegate had the opportunity to experience the purpose and work in the EP. We also actively participated in solving the current problems in the EU and after a lengthy formal debates came up with an excellent ENVI committee resolution that passed. It was a pleasurable experience for us!
